This product is hand-made using traditional, sustainable techniques and natural dyes. Measuring in at 200x160cm, our largest tie-dye item is perfect as a double bedspread or larger tablecloth.
As each item is unique, slight variations on the pattern may occur from that shown.
Care instructions
Wash separately on low temp. We advise giving your tie-dye a wash before use. Due to the traditional techniques used the natural colour may fade slightly over time with repeat washes.
Bai tie-dye
The Bai are one of Yunnan’s most numerous minority people. This famous Bai technique is at least 1000 years old. Cotton sheets are tightly knotted into traditional designs and repeatedly dipped by hand in natural woad dye until the deep indigo colour is achieved. Our tie-dye is hand made by the Duan family of Zhoucheng, Yunnan.
