Hand woven using traditional techniques and materials in North Eastern Laos, this scarf is a beautiful example of the best of Lao silk weaving. From start to finish these scarves are manufactured using organic, sustainable practices and are truly unique.

Mulberries

Mulberries is the most recent brainchild of the wonderful Kommaly Chanthavong and her daughter Boby. Kommaly started her first enterprise, Photong crafts in 1976. It has always been her philosophy to preserve Lao handicrafts whilst offering employment to marginalised rural women. Each scarf woven at Mulberries benefits at least 25 families as all processes are completed by hand using traditional techniques. All silk used is produced and dyed on the farm in Xieng Khouang. All dyes are 100% natural.
