  • Our shipping is worked out by size and weight. Please check shipping cost on checkout for total amount. Larger items cost more to ship and a large item in your order will increase the cost of shipping.
  • Orders over 2KG may be subject to surcharges.

Returns Policy

You are free to cancel your order with …in a strange land at any point before it is dispatched. Please email support[at]in-a-strange-land.com or call 01296 392699. Please have your order number ready.

We want everybody to be happy with the order, but we understand mistakes can happen and can accept returns for any of the reasons below:

If the product does not meet your requirements

  • Item must be returned exactly as it was received to the address below with any enclosed documentation.
  • Please return within 14 days.
  • Credit will be made upon receipt of returned item.
  • We cannot refund postage costs for items returned for this reason.

If you receive an item you did not order

  • Please contact us immediately via any of the methods listed below, if only to allow us to apologise!
  • We will then arrange delivery of the correct product via next day service.
  • We will arrange to have the incorrect product collected.

If the product is not fit for purpose

  • Please contact us by email, with your order number, at the email address listed below with as much information as possible.
  • We will respond within 48 hours and work with you to resolve the problem as soon as possible and replace the item, if necessary.

 If the product was damaged in transit

  • Please contact us by email, with your order number, at the email address listed below with as much information as possible including a photo of the damage if possible.
  • We will arrange for the damaged item to be collected and replaced as soon as possible.
  • We cannot accept responsibility for any damage sustained as a result of user error or any transportation subsequent to the item being delivered to you.

PLEASE NOTE: ALL ITEMS MUST BE PACKAGED AND RETURNED AS SECURELY AS POSSIBLE. REFUNDS OF POSTAGE ARE DEPENDENT UPON REASON FOR RETURN. PLEASE SEE ABOVE.
